Traditionally, SBRC programming includes satellite events held in the form of workshops on topics related to the Symposium and of community interest. These satellite events serve typically as an alternative forum to the main event track so that emerging issues, cross-cutting themes, or even themes already established, but that interest to a substantial portion of the community, can be discussed following different dynamics used in main trail, providing a more informal and where discussions can occur more intensely environment.
For its thirty-fourth edition, the organizing committee of SBRC invites researchers to submit proposals for workshops to be held in conjunction with the Symposium covering one or more Computer Networks and Distributed Systems community interest areas. As in previous editions, the workshops will last for a day or half a day.
Proposals for workshops should include the following items:
Proposals must be submitted by email (in PDF format) to Michele Nogueira (michele@inf.ufpr.br) containing in subject field the following label “[SBRC2016-Workshops].
– Deadline for submission of workshop proposals: October 26th, 2015
– Notification of accepted workshops: November 3rd, 2015
– Sending any material in final format to be included in the annals SBRC: May 2nd, 2016
